Although this website is mainly dedicated to pumpkin carving, we recognize the growing popularity of pumpkin painting. There are a lot of benefits. Some of the benefits include less mess and longevity of the decoration. However, pumpkin painting can actually require more skill than pumpkin carving. From an artistic perspective, it is much easier to trace a design onto a pumpkin as is done with pumpkin carving. So, for pumpkin painting it helps to work on some painting techniques.

Since this is not our area of expertise (yet), we will defer to some other websites that offer e-books and resources on pumpkin painting. As we learn more, we will offer more about pumpkin painting. We think it will only get more popular simply because it lasts. We do not think it will replace pumpkin carving but we think it will be done in conjunction with pumpkin carving.
